Second annual Sophie Swim set for Aug. 27

KAANAPALI – The second annual Sophie Swim, an open water two-kilometer swim from Kahekili Beach Park to Black Rock and back, will be held on Sunday, Aug. 27. Sign up online at flpregister.com/261.

Bring the whole family and race by age group and category – with or without fins. Winners and runners-up will be awarded prizes.  The first 50 entrants will receive an “atomic tangerine” beach towel and mesh bag. All swimmers must wear the cap provided.

Money raised will go to the Sophie DeLoria Foundation, which provides funding for local Keiki groups focused on swimming, dance, and music.
